9 / 10 March 2010 – „Forum am Schlosspark” Ludwigsburg / Germany

Baroque, but not passé

That’s loveable Ludwigsburg for you, founded in 1704 by the eponymous Duke Ludwig. From his residential palace, the duke planned and gradually extended the town, adding more palaces and numerous splendid residences. So although a stroll through the town of Ludwigsburg may make you feel almost as if you had traveled through time to another age, however time has by no means stood still: in addition to the well-established cultural tradition of the town, represented for example by the famous Ludwigsburger Schlossfestspiele festival, it has also produced a young, creative art and media scene. We want to take advantage of these inspiring surroundings to encourage active participation at the very modern „Forum am Schlosspark” in Ludwigsburg, so that everyone can get right up to date.
